How to find us

Physiotherapy is concerned with restoring normal movement and function of the body. Chartered Physiotherapists are required to undertake a period of study at degree level that enables them to qualify for membership of the CSP and HPC. Physiotherapists work within many areas of health care and here at PhysioWorks we specialise in the treatment of all types of musculoskeletal conditions, acupuncture and women’s health.

At PhysioWorks our Physiotherapists have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, pathology and pain. We are therefore able to provide comprehensive assessments that allow us to identify and manage your symptoms. We encourage patients to fully partake in their treatment and rehabilitation in order to maximise recovery and return to normal activities and sports.

Conditions we treat:

  • Back and Neck Pain – Recent and persistent back and neck pain, sciatica, muscular strain, joint pain, prolapsed disc, pelvic pain.
  • Sports Injuries – strains and sprains to muscles, ligaments, tendons, cartilage injuries, dislocations, return to sport rehabilitation.
  • Incontinence – faecal and urinary (urgent, stress and mixed).
  • Ante-natal and Post-natal Care – spinal pain, pelvic pain, vaginal prolapse, perineal trauma (following delivery), rib pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, De’Quervans, post natal back stability and low impact aerobic exercises, pain relief advice prior to labour.
